Coney Island Triptych

The film follows a female character who wanders by the beach and submerges herself into the everyday magical reality of Coney Island.  The surrealism of what is happening hints that she might be in a dream: she finds a magical chair, observes a handful of Coney Island characters and  eavesdrops on a private conversation. The events she goes through have a dream's logics as people and places drift by. 

The triptych captures a series of events happening in Coney Island. It describes a feeling about life through visual expression where planned and unplanned are merged into a surreal depiction. The ordinary in life is cherished and yet transformed into extraordinary through the artist’s eye.

A bubblegum-pink retro television becomes both sculpture and storyteller — a nostalgic multimedia object that hums with the charm of another era.
